Incoming....and a little departure for me...
I had an itch for a Chronograph for a while and to scratch it, I purchased a Seiko SSC271 last week that I posted. I planned on getting another down the road and it was between a Ball NEDU and the Speedy Pro, until I saw that the folks at World of Watches had a blowout sale on one of my favorite brands and styles, the Jean Richard Aeroscope.
My friend Max (Doboji) bought a Terrascope and he loves it, especially the brushed black dial, and when I saw this come up, well, I just had to pull the trigger.
It's a bit of a departure for me as I'm into simple three handers with not much in the way of color, so rather than get one of the more "traditional" ones....well, I hope you like the one I picked.
BTW, check out the deals at WOW on these, they are a steal! Look for promotional codes online too as I got one that saved me an additional $80.
Wrist shots when in. Have a great day IWL friends!

Wowzers!!!!! Like that a lot! Great choice you have made there.
I almost gotten myself one earlier this year (terrascope), but at 45mm, I hesitated. I liked everything about it, except the size (because I have small wrist). I know they have now launched a 39mm, yet to see it in person.
Your pic just re-kindle the fire in me for this......

Thanks! I expect with the short lugs it would wear smaller than the 44mm that the Aeroscope is and the 45mm of the Terrascope.

Thanks, William. I would have expected you'd like the cushion case since you are such a Panerai fan.
Seriously guys, check out WOW. Every Aeroscope selection they have is well under $1500 and they have many color combos. For a 5K watch that had such excellent metal work/finish, it can't be beat.

Will it be hard to change straps due to the lugs ?
I've been looking @ the Terrascope

Good question, is does look a bit tight there doesn't it? The photos above are borrowed and mine will come with the black rubber strap. I plan on getting an orange strap and will see how that goes. A 25mm lug width won't help the matter either as I try to jam a 26mm strap on it.

In the last few years JR has made a serious combat and really stepped up to the plate with some fantastic designs. Excellent choice!

Thanks....yes, the dial and bezel texture along with the high level of brushed/finish work was definitely what triggered my interest in the brand.

This is the ONLY reason I haven't made a JR purchase due to the fact I'm a strap whore
