Thread: what led me to the BP bathyscaphe

Nice pics. I love mine as well and typically photos don't do it justice. It has to be worn to be appreciated to the fullest. The 23mm doesn't bother me, it's easy to get straps made by pretty much any strap maker. I had a couple of leather and 3 canvas straps made for it and I don't even wear the OEM sail cloth strap or either of the two OEM BP natos I have.
The case size at 43 is not bad on paper but it does wear a bit larger than the # suggests due to the big sparse dial and thin dark bezel, which adds continuity to the dark dial. It's a little long too and about as large as I'd want to go on my 7" wrist. I love it it but would find it perfect at 41mm and 2-3 m shorter as well and 22m lugs.
Your pics are awesome as usual and are among the few I've seen to do this great watch justice.

It is everything and more. Truly a fantastic piece that has to be worn to be appreciated. I will definitely be getting my hands on another one of these days. Enjoyed your thoughts and pictures as always.
