That would probably be reserved for something Swiss, actually.

Not that you should, but what do they want for the SBGW?
About U$3,600.....
It is definitely not your "usual" GS design, and maybe that's one reason why it appeals to me....

Oh good heavens no. That's MUCH to expensive. That watch will have been made over 10 years ago, sitting there, getting all sad and stuff....And it will only have around 50 hrs PR (last gen 9S54 movement) compared to the new SBGW035's 3 days, which I imagine is much more useful on a hand wind watch. In fact, $3,600 isn't even a good price for a SBGW035. Much too expensive indeed.

I know....that's the reason why I have been holding back. I am able to get the SBGR061 at a lower price, and it's the piece that stole my heart when I first got to know about GS.
I think I will pass on this. Anyway thank you for sharing your knowledge. Always appreciated.

Oh the SBGR061 is beautiful alright. Some people have a problem with it's beige-ness but that's my favourite bit. The beige and the blued seconds hand go together so well. I also prefer the heaftier hands and markers on the SBGRs over the SBGWs. Just adds more dimension to the dial.
If you prefer no-date, then sit tight because more of those will come. Now that they've got the 9S61 in production they won't stop with the 42mm autos.

If they ever launch a similar 061 with no date, then I think I will be ready to own it. Maybe patience does pay off ....hopefully....

Surely a short PR is better from an isochronism point of view?
Otherwise you'd have to remember *not* to wind your watch some mornings in order to stay near the middle of the curve :-)
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!
