My "friend" just found out that he's not allergic to any form of seafood, so we're going out to dinner tomorrow. Going to a place that isn't really a seafood place, but they usually have good oysters and at least one or two other good seafood dishes.

A place near me does buck-a-shuck on Saturday nights, so this was my Saturday dinner:

A friend of mine was recently in South Africa and now lives in Australia. You can get almost anything made into jerky down there.

I went to a rugby match last year with a South African who brought along a bag of home made biltong.
It was tastier than any shop bought stuff I'd tried in the past.
He'd built his own drying boxes at home as he was fed up with not being able to get anything as good as in SA.

Was trying to figure out what that was. Ostrich jerky? Hummm. Now I have heard of everything.........

I used to eat Kangaroo jerky, but I had to quit as it made me too jumpy....

One of our girls made this desert

It's chocolate covered with marshmallows, then put in the oven so everything melted.
Put it on a biscuit and enjoy!

Smores! Here, we roast marsmallows and put them on a Hershey bar which is on a graham cracker. Quite similar to your end result, and about as tasty a creation as has ever been contrived.
