Seagull have a reputation for saving the best grade of movements for themselves.

Watchunique produce an "official reproduction" (last I heard, this was confirmed by Seagull themselves)

    Significant price difference.
Long Island Watches also sells 38mm and 42mm versions.

I have no idea, i just have seen them on there before and knew they were available. I'm sure if you emailed they'd tell you. I can't think of the owners name but he's a pretty stand-up guy from what I hear. I've never dealt with him.

I can tell you the watchunique version comes from exactly the same source as every other 1963.

I have had quite a few Sea-Gulls and Sea-Gull-made watches pass through my collection. Most of them them have already been shown by others in this thread:

    Currently in collection:

    M201S (ST18 movement)

    ST5 in an ST7 case c. 1974

    USA Sea-Gull WuYi ST21

    ST5 Project

And now sold - WUS Moonphase

    WUS 2-Crown

    Blue ST16 sporty watch

    Name: SeagullBlu1.jpg

Size: 90.2 KB

...and a Maurice Blum moonphase (a brand owned by Sea-Gull, built in-house apparently)

Size: 59.9 KB

This doesn't count a few other brands with Sea-Gull movements inside, which I will omit for now.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.
