Thread: Food

No pictures. I spent the entire day outside in the heat hauling heavy things around, but I just had dal makhani, lamb vindaloo, and a chicken curry based on apples, all along with naan and rice.

Slightly drunk, quite full and very tired.

Sounds delicious, actually! Vindaloo is too spicy for me, though.

It does. An odd choice for heavy, hot outdoor work, but so be it. I have recently upped my chilli game and can take, and enjoy, almost anything. I haven't tried a vindaloo since but I should probably be okay. Though it's the sheer volume that's usually an issue, as opposed to a pizza with a few really hot chillis which I love.

I love spicy food on a hot day. My favourite dish from this restaurant is the dal mahkani, which they make quite spicy. I thought the vindaloo was a bit tame.

I'd probably eat curry on any climate to be honest (in fact I have, and do) .

Toasted coconut cream cake last night at the Wayfare in SF.

    The sauce was insane.

Smoke salmon, walnuts and brie for breakfast. If I want to keep posting in the wine thread and start posting in the fitness one I can't continue eating from cans of Vienna sausage.
