Milner official at Liverpool, Adam Bogdan also official. I hope Bogdan is at least an upgrade over Brad Jones. In the match against United, Jones not only made 0 saves, he dove the wrong way for every single shot, which is, at the very least, statistically impressive.

I could have swore some smaller league teams had. Also it has been done in Europe.

The Ings deal is almost official too.
And coach Mike Marsh has been sacked (contract not renewed) and Assistant Manager Colin Pascoe has gone as well - all part of the re-build so it seems. From what i've heard Pascoe (came with Rodgers from Swansea) was not very good and not respected by the squad.
Maybe get someone in who can structure a defensive unit !!

Still, my hopes for top four next year are not high.

Milner is an upgrade in midfield if you ask me.
But I think Liverpool needs a defensive midfielder like no tomorrow.

Milner did some good service for City -but he is still just an ordinary 'journeyman' sort of player and Ings is basically in the same bracket -Ings looked good in a poor team so its hard to tell his promise

Ings looked okay on a terrible team. He's no upgrade over Borini, except that he's domestic.
Milner is fine, but he's not going to change the team. Better than Joe Allen in the midfield, but no Lallana, Coutinho, or Henderson.

Easy as you like for Rakitic. 1-0 to Barcelona.

If Arturo Vidal finishes this match, I'll be shocked. He went unpunished for a possible red card offense, has since collected a yellow, and has then been called for three more fouls after that.
