Thread: Hate these things.

  1. #1

    Hate these things.

Tent moth caterpillars. Saskatoon in general and my neighbourhood in particular, has a lush urban forest. From a plane one can hardly see any houses in the river valley where I live. Every few years we have an infestation and this...is one of those years.

The point and shoot back up is almost good enough for these pictures.

Boy Henry Krinkle, if pics of critters you dislike, or anything for that matter, are as awesome as these I would love to see the camera results of stuff you love . . .

I hate all bugs. Burn them all, except for the bees, since honey and flowers are good.

Reminds me of the canker worms that were a huge problem growing up in Winnipeg. If the street had trees, you could guarantee there were canker worms hanging down just waiting to demonize you on your way past.

If you can get a watch into a picture like those, Henry; I reckon you'll be in with a good shot at this months photo comp.

That's the other big problem here. We've got the same basic climate and trees as Winnipeg.

We would be awash in dead things without bugs to break them down. Then we'd all catch nasty stuff from the dead things and die ourselves.

And then we'd have the zombie apocalypse. Or something.

    hmmmm...what watch?

    Just kidding.
