Benteke is a good striker for sure. But he isn't a striker for the team that had the least (or one of the least) amount of crosses into the box.
Also not sure he is worth 32.5 million.

Yeah. As Sherwood pointed out, Benteke feeds off crosses which Rodgers doesn't do.
Benteke is a very good striker who doesn't fit the Rodgers system. Hmmmm. It's almost like he is being bought by someone who is planning for a post-Rodgers team. Or maybe just someone who isn't Rodgers.
I really feel that Liverpool is currently in the hands of people who aren't interested in football.

Apparently Klopp said that they need to get rid of the transfer committee for him to go there.

Makes sense, can't see that getting done. On the grapevine the rumours are that if FSG cannot get Klopp or Frank De Boer from Ajax then they will stick with Rodgers

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Dissolve the committee, burn the building in which they meet, and smash their phones with a hammer. Bring in Klopp.

I'm loathe to do it but I must give congrats to Arsenal for back to back FA Cups. That was a brutal beating that could have had an even worse scoreline. Villa sure went out with a whimper after the initial resurgence under Sherwood, but I hope he can guide them back into relevance next season. They're far too big a club to be mired in the relegation battle. Now the question is whether Wenger can make the incremental tweaks to his roster to get them truly into the hunt for the BPL and Champions League. At least he did show some signs this year of being flexible in his tactics.

Klopp has now stated that he's taking a break from the game and will not be taking the Liverpool job or any other jobs for a while.
Well done FSG, had your chance, stuffed it up.

Wow, Blatter out at FIFA. To make such an about face, he must have found out just how much dirt the FBI and Swiss authorities have on him. Good day for world soccer.

Woohoo! If that doesn't put a smile on people's faces nothing will!
Also I was surprised by this chart.
