did you get the keys to ? looks nice silver ? hallmarked ? looks English maybe . and the original box too what's not to like

Yes I have the key. I'm looking for a chain for it now.
It's a E. Howard & Co. of Boston. They're known for making very high end pocket watches in low numbers.
Low serial number. Solid silver case. The box is not original, it's an old Birks piece I use to store my best pocket watch in.

cool nice the bay has some nice chains and fobs I notice early when looking for a monjina worth a look to finish it off well. what's age do you reckon ?

I'm way ahead of you on the eBay front ☺
The watch dates to 1861 and it's a regulator movement which I don't know anything about but I'll teach myself.
My teacher valued it at $6000 and if enough fight over in an auction setting it could do very low 5 figures. This is what my former teacher tells me, is it true or not, that will remain a mystery.
