5-0 at halftime. Most pathetic performance I have ever witnessed. Historically pathetic; the first time Liverpool has ever conceded 5 in the first half.

Absolutely pathetic display from LFC in the first half. I'll revise my previous comment on Rodgers. I say let him go during halftime. If you can't get the team to show up for Stevies last game all is lost.

6-1. Needs sacking. He'll come up with some silly excuses after the game. FSG need to show intent now

Newcastle stay up, success for Ashley again (in his eyes anyway), another Premier league payday for him. If they keep John Carver as manager for next season that would show true non-ambition.

Liverpool really down, was that performance an indicator that the squad aren't playing for Rodgers? Or that they really didnt want to finish 5th and get qualified for the Euro cup?

6th also qualifies, right? And 7th too, if Arsenal wins the FA Cup.

    Seen online:

Rodgers should do the decent thing and resign. Finishing below Spurs after all his patronizing comments about them spending 100m and promising that Liverpool won't "do a Spurs" must be very embarrassing even for a delusional charlatan like him.

Ouch. Really hard to make a case for Rodgers staying after the way the team collapsed down the stretch. Something is seriously wrong in that dressing room and you can't put it all on the owners, front office, or Sterling's agent.

If he has a shred of dignity, he'd resign.
