    **** Zim Gallery ****

So yes we have the Pobeda threads which is a sort of Zim thread lol but how about we have a Zim thread as well as there are certain case designs that scream more Zim then Podeba here are some of my Zims.

    Pobeda (Russian: Победа, Victory)

is a Russian brand of wrist- and pocket watches. The brand name was chosen by Stalin himself in April 1945,he gave the order that the first watches be ready for the 1st year of Victory celebration. The first prototype came out of the Penza factory by the end of 1945, and the first model for the public came out of the Kirov Watch Factory in March 1946.

    ZIM (Russian: 3HN )

The 'Maslennikov Watch Factory'. This factory is traditionally referred to as '3HN' (ZIM : 'Zavod Imeni Maslennikova'). It was located in the town of Samara (previously called Kuibischev) and produced watches under the Trade Name 'POBEDA'# (Victory).

not much difference really open from the front to remove the movement like with a 2209 case. in a lot of ways it is more 2209 then zim . it look's better in the pic then in real life as I have had to patch the dial so am on the look out for a n.o.s one if I see one but nice little beater and it keeps great time

well it is a manual so it is very thin it is in display at the minute so can't really show you a side by side but I would say it has a 2602 movement so it is slightly thinner maybe then 2209 if that helps at all
