You'll love this then. Wife threw together a penne and artichoke heart pasta with an olive oil/lemon juice, feta zucchini salad.

    Food

Had a super-thin crust margherita pizza in New York last night. Don't think there's another place outside this city were you can get something quite like it. In my photo the pie looked like it was run over by a NYC garbage truck so I'm using this one:

Bu11itt, just thought of this 13 hours too late: It would have been great to have a wine recommendation to go with the above. Wonder if the wine thread could also provide the same service as M. Montaigne's clothing advice & questions thread.

Sure. I say the wine thread would be as good a place as any for wine/food pairing suggestions. I am by no means an expert and my palate can often be described as "adventurous", but I'll provide whatever little knowledge I have. Also, I tend towards an AFWE style (Anti-flavor wine elite; I'd call it a loose wine equivalent of the term WIS, look it up for more info). So I'm gonna like my wines with less big, ripe fruit and lower alcohol/less residual sugar.

With pizza, I'd say something acidic (but not too acidic) with lower tannins and a moderate red fruit character. Nothing too acidic to go with the tomatoe sauce but not too strong to overpower everything else.

Please do. The more the merrier... I'll be posting some notes on an infanticide I did this evening.
