It was chicken breast in garlic wrapped in puff pastry.
    It was pretty amazing

It doesn't look like much, but it was delicious.

We had company o Thursday night and tried our hands at shumai. We saved some of the leftover filling and made shumai burgers. We made a rice vinegar and mirin quick pickle of serranos, white onion, carrots and cucumber and then once that cooled added shredded napa cabbage to make an Asian slaw as garnish/ side dish.

My wife wasn't feeling well today, so, comfort food. Turkey tetrazzini made with homemade noodles and turkey stock. Chanterelles are best, but they are only available for about a month in June/July but I had some lovely oyster mushrooms.

I ate outside on the patio for the first time this year today, it was lovely. Anguus striploins, double smoked bacon wrapped scallops, veggie assortment, and ccubed Yukon potatoes, all of it off my grill.

Had no interest in going in for the camera, so just imagine it however you'd like.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.
