Down about 60lbs (over two years) and want to drop another 20-25. It seem to come in phases. Part of why I like the hotter weather. You sweat more and it's easier to take in more water. Kind of stuck at 184 since the cooler snap ( all FL relative).

    Hory shet!
How much does one have to weigh to begin with to lose 60, and still have room to lose another 25?

I am between 180 - 185 lbs on any given day.
At 5'10" I think that is not unreasonable.
But I'd like to get it down to 165-170 if possible.
But man! It won't budge. Neither down nor up, no matter what I do/ eat.

The answer is way too much. You and I are the same height so if you use the BMI standard to calculate your BMI you are between 25.8 and 26.8 with 24.9 being the upper end of what is considered normal. I'm currently at 180 on my heavy days so I need at least 10 more lbs to be in the normal range and from there it would take another 25 lbs to be in the middle of the normal range. So I'm aiming high and technically it would be another 35 total lbs to reach this goal.

I was stalled about 4 months ago around 192. Walking and biking were still not getting me in the zone I needed to burn more after several months. Two things I did that helped for me. First I started running via the C25k app and second I started tracking evening thing with a Fitbit. My daily goal is 14,000 steps but I find when I look at night and I see that I'm just below or past the goal but maybe like 2k shy of some higher number like 20k steps I get up and head out to blow past it. So it's kept me active and I also track my food and water intake (I'm bad at remembering to drink water). My food calories are tracked against my calories burned and since September I never let it be less than 1200 burned more than taken in. After a 7.64 mile run this morning I hit the 170's for the first time at 178.8. The big key here is I'm only going down now with no swings back up.

BlackCat - Good job on the weight loss. But to both of you, I wouldn't go by any charts of what you "should" be. Everyone is completely different.

I'm just trying to figure out how exactly to do this since it seems like a better solution.
