NSA Bracelet values...
Many of us have been around this brand long enough to know more than we ever imagined about NSA bracelets.
When I first started collecting Rado watches about 22 years ago, I bought some NOS examples (with their Novavit boxes and NSA clasps) from a seller in the UK who had obtained a lot of stock when NSA went out of business. Then Squinky got hold of a lot and was generous with his information (if not always his asking prices on eBay) and we learner about other brands that used NSA back inthe day (JLC, Heuer, Roamer, F-L, Longines...)
Nowadays, it's still surprisingly easy to find people selling junk or near-to-junk watches for low prices...that include an NSA or parts thereof. Which made me totally surprised last week when I decided to list a scarce NSA 22mm stepped bracelet with Favre-Leuba logo flat clasp on eBay. I'd tried to sell the complete watch a couple times but, with the watch needing service, was not having luck. So I listed them separately and, within a day or so, had sold the bracelet...for $230!!
This was a huge haul, in my opinion. Unexpected and quite welcome. The watch sold also, for less, go figure.
I guess I have no real idea what any NSA is worth these days. I have loads of them, in various states, and use them on many types of watches, though these days I prefer the Staib mesh for anything modern (also pricey).
Not much tops a classic flat-clasp 7-row, IMO, though the Blue Tiger below had a beauty of a 3-row.
What's your favorite NSA?
