    Rockford Watch Company Pocketwatch from the 1880s

    The NAWCC just posted THIS. It is a more elegant model than the railroad style. At its inception in 1880, the fact that it had 15 jewels meant that it was a high end piece. One can only admire the blued screws and the micro-adjustment for the balance wheel.

    Hope you enjoy. Also consider joining the NAWCC. I am not a shill for them, but they do have a great magazine and it is one of the few last vestiges of old watches/clocks that one can find. I get their mag via e-reader and do enjoy it.
