    I've put off sorting this crown thing , even though the parts have been sitting there for 2 years (I wasn't even the original owner and I managed to get Tutima to supply free parts because of this supposed common problem.)

    I've never had a problem with the black dialled Tutima I've also got, which I wore yesterday.

    ........and as a result I've not been wearing it because there was just no thread there at all , I guess I thought I'd have to replace the tube too (which was supplied just in case)

    Happily I've just fitted the new crown and that's all it needed , so welcome to my new (preowned) Tutima which up til now I've worn for about 3 days since acquiring it lol

    I remember sending this to the authorised Tutima service place in the uk , for this job on it's own, no other work ... and they quoted £180

    It took <10 minutes
