    So was chatting late late last night about hammys in the wruw thread and so we thought to see what one's the member's have as there are some striking ones out there. me I like the military ones.

    hmmm I can guess as I like a hammy but am no expert on it it's a world war 2 piece so anywhere from 1939 to 1945 but it could be a later piece I would say 50's feel right at a guess but I am sure some one will have a better Idea of it then me ..

    one of the reasons I did the thread was to find out more about them in general plus the early stuff

    found a half decent back shot but upside down

    I believe that w-800 with the black face was a USN issue - the parts no represents the movement Grade 987A sub-seconds . small watch of course , probably 30 mm or so -The k h v stamp stands for the case manuf Keystone , H stood for Hamilton of course and the 3 is the model of case

    this is my early 70's issued watch [ Falklands era ]one of the last before they went to quartz - fab bullet proof hefty watch that looks good anyway

    perhaps after the earth tremor i believe the back of the watch would be more of a giveaway
