The Mark 11 Navigators Watch was made by IWC (International Watch Company) and Jeager-LeCoultre and used by Pilots and navigators of the South African Air Force (SAAF) from the early 1950s right through to 1986, they also were used by Royal Air forces of Great Britain, Canada and Australia as well as many British Civilian Pilots.
Made according to Ministry of Defence Specification 6B/346 the movement was housed in an Anti-magnetic case, These watches are highly prized due to their rareity, sadly many were destroyed when the watches were withdrawn from use and replaced by quartz versions for economic and acuracy reasons

30mm matt black dial. white printed minutes scale.
Hours indicated with white arabic numerals from 1 through 11 inclusive and a triangle at 12
Black painted batton style hours and minutes hand with cream colour lume infil, and a white seconds hand with almond shape balance.
